“Sa Dulo ng Dalampasigan"

“Sa Dulo ng Dalampasigan” means the extent of our shores. And this exhibit is proof that such a place is washed over—blurred beneath a countrywide surf. That there is little distinction between what is shore and what is not—that it is almost like looking out at the blue, and determining where the ocean becomes horizon, and where horizon becomes sky...

SILVER contributes to this effort as FotomotoPH's Official Printer.

Form Follows Freedom, Freedom Induces Form

Bloom, thereafter - Trish Shishikura

“Bloom, thereafter” was an exhibit that served as a sincere token of gratitude to some friends in the queer community. The exhibit featured portraits paired with macro photography interpretations conceptualized and shot by Shishikura with the intention to delve deeper into the emotions that propel these stories. The macro photographs used low-light photography techniques as an answer to the personal question, “And what of light if not juxtaposed with darkness?”

The exhibition featured 32 large format, fine art prints, printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta, 315gsm.

World Ocean’s Day Exhibit, El Nido Palawan

Launched in celebration of Earth Day in 2023, Interconnections was an outdoor photography exhibit held at Kalye Artisano in El Nido from April 22 to May 22, 2023.

The Philippines is one of the few megabiodiverse countries on our entire planet. Nature weaves a tapestry of interconnected microscopic and macroscopic universes. Shifting winds, lunar cycles, coral reefs, fishing boats, and fallen leaves, all play in an integral dance of magic, wonder, and decay.

From the towering canopies of the mountains in Mindanao, to the intricate coral reefs that adorn Palawan's ocean floor, to the cosmic bodies that inspire myths of creation, death, and rebirth, influence our thoughts and regulate the tides embracing our archipelago, each ecosystem uniquely reflects humankind's deep and complex sense of connectivity.

Printed on Hahnemuhle Bamboo, 290gsm with support from Hahnemuhle and GlobisPH.

FOTOMOTO22: Home

HOME… For some, it is a sense of place, a dwelling. For others, it is as abstract as a feeling, a relationship, or a ritual.

Emerging from lengthy isolation periods, working and studying from home, migration, or displacement, the past two years have forced us to reconsider our perspectives, disrupting and then redefining the confines of home.

FotomotoPH invited photographers and artists to submit their own visual interpretations under this theme, as they explore their own definitions of home.

SILVER, the Official Printer of FotomotoPH, produced over 450 large format, fine art prints for the inaugural exhibition in UP Parola, and the succeeding shows in The Orange Project in Bacolod and the BenCab Museum in Benguet.
